CMM Inspection for CNC Components

A tolerance on a drawing is a promise. A CMM is how you prove it was kept. Every critical dimension on your parts is measured on our in-house Zeiss coordinate measuring machine — and the result is documented, not asserted.

Why ProtoTech

Why equipment manufacturers choose us

Measured in-house, on a Zeiss CMM

No outsourced inspection, no waiting on third-party reports — dimensional verification happens where the parts are made.

Reports you can file

Dimensional inspection reports per batch, tied to your part number and revision.

Geometry, not just size

Diameters, positions, concentricity and geometric relationships — checked against your drawing, not against a sample.

How we work

From Drawing to Delivered Part

A transparent, engineering-led process built for long-term supply programs — not one-off transactions.

1

Submit & Review

Send drawings and program context. Our engineers run a DFM review and flag tolerances, materials and risk before any cutting begins.

2

Quote & Material Plan

You receive a transparent quote plus a material-verification plan — grade, EN/DIN check and certificate strategy for your application.

3

Machine & Inspect

In-house precision machining, then Zeiss CMM dimensional inspection and spectrometer material verification on critical batches.

4

Deliver & Support

Kitted, ESD-safe or cleanroom packaging, with local engineering and after-sales support through our German partner.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Critical dimensions are measured on our Zeiss CMM and documented in a dimensional inspection report tied to your part number and drawing revision.
We inspect critical dimensions and geometric relationships against your drawing. Send the drawing with tolerancing up front and we confirm measurability during the quote.
The CMM is ours, in our facility — so inspection does not wait on an external lab, and results feed directly back into the machining process.

What happens after you send your files

  • Within 1 business day an engineer — not a salesperson — reviews your drawings and replies.
  • DFM review: tolerances, material and risk flags, before any cutting begins.
  • Your quote includes a material-verification plan: grade, EN/DIN check, certificate strategy.
