Tight Tolerance CNC Machining, Verified In-House

Tight tolerances are a process discipline, not a machine brochure spec. Thermal stability, fixturing, tool wear control and measurement strategy all have to agree — and then the result has to be proven, on a CMM, not assumed.

Why ProtoTech

Why equipment manufacturers choose us

Real numbers, not marketing

±0.005 mm typical where applicable, ±0.01 mm standard on simultaneous 5-axis — stated per feature, per drawing.

Measured, documented, shipped

Zeiss CMM inspection with dimensional reports on critical features, batch after batch.

Tolerance consulting up front

Our engineers flag tolerance stacks and measurement risks during DFM — before they become scrap.

How we work

From Drawing to Delivered Part

A transparent, engineering-led process built for long-term supply programs — not one-off transactions.

1

Submit & Review

Send drawings and program context. Our engineers run a DFM review and flag tolerances, materials and risk before any cutting begins.

2

Quote & Material Plan

You receive a transparent quote plus a material-verification plan — grade, EN/DIN check and certificate strategy for your application.

3

Machine & Inspect

In-house precision machining, then Zeiss CMM dimensional inspection and spectrometer material verification on critical batches.

4

Deliver & Support

Kitted, ESD-safe or cleanroom packaging, with local engineering and after-sales support through our German partner.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

±0.005 mm typical where applicable and ±0.01 mm standard on simultaneous 5-axis work. Tighter is possible depending on feature size, material and geometry — our engineers confirm per drawing during quoting.
Every critical dimension is measured on our in-house Zeiss CMM and documented in inspection reports. First articles get full dimensional layout before any series production.
It costs more where it adds process steps — that is honest. Our DFM review flags which tolerances genuinely need to be tight and which can be relaxed, so you pay for precision only where it matters.

What happens after you send your files

  • Within 1 business day an engineer — not a salesperson — reviews your drawings and replies.
  • DFM review: tolerances, material and risk flags, before any cutting begins.
  • Your quote includes a material-verification plan: grade, EN/DIN check, certificate strategy.

Every critical dimension is verified on our in-house Zeiss CMM · material chemistry confirmed by spectrometer · EN 10204 3.1 certificates available.
