Material Certificates and Quality Documentation

When your customer audits your supply chain, the question is never whether the part measures correctly — it is whether you can prove where the material came from. Certificates are that proof, and we treat them as part of the product.

Why ProtoTech

Why equipment manufacturers choose us

EN 10204 3.1 as standard

Material certificates available with your parts, tied to the batch and the drawing revision.

Backed by measurement

Certificate chemistry is cross-checked on our spectrometer, so the paper matches the metal.

Audit-ready package

Certificates, dimensional reports and traceability records form one consistent documentation set.

How we work

From Drawing to Delivered Part

A transparent, engineering-led process built for long-term supply programs — not one-off transactions.

1

Submit & Review

Send drawings and program context. Our engineers run a DFM review and flag tolerances, materials and risk before any cutting begins.

2

Quote & Material Plan

You receive a transparent quote plus a material-verification plan — grade, EN/DIN check and certificate strategy for your application.

3

Machine & Inspect

In-house precision machining, then Zeiss CMM dimensional inspection and spectrometer material verification on critical batches.

4

Deliver & Support

Kitted, ESD-safe or cleanroom packaging, with local engineering and after-sales support through our German partner.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

A mill-issued declaration that the delivered material meets the specified grade, stating actual chemical composition and mechanical properties — the document most European equipment manufacturers require for traceable supply.
Yes — certificates can be supplied with prototypes and are standard with series batches. State the requirement in the RFQ so we plan the material accordingly.
Incoming stock is verified on our spectrometer against the specified EN/DIN grade, and records are kept at batch level — so the certificate, the batch and your parts line up.

What happens after you send your files

  • Within 1 business day an engineer — not a salesperson — reviews your drawings and replies.
  • DFM review: tolerances, material and risk flags, before any cutting begins.
  • Your quote includes a material-verification plan: grade, EN/DIN check, certificate strategy.

Every critical dimension is verified on our in-house Zeiss CMM · material chemistry confirmed by spectrometer · EN 10204 3.1 certificates available.
