A fixture is only as good as its repeatability. If a part locates differently on the tenth load than the first, every tolerance downstream is guesswork.

Location accuracy, repeatable clamping, and stiffness where the part would otherwise deflect. Fixture faces and locating features are machined to the same standards as the parts they hold.
Aluminium for light fixtures, steel where wear resistance matters, and engineering plastics where a soft, non-marking contact face is required.
